Welcome to DMAC everyone!!

We hope you'll find this blog useful for posting comments about DMAC sessions and activities-- responses to the daily readings, reflections on what you're learning, questions for other participants, ideas for your classes and assignments, requests for feedback.

You can also use the blog to let others know what you're working on--or hoping to work on! And, of course, we look forward to reading the observations and insights that arise from the projects we'll undertake together.

Our fondest hope, of course, is that each of you will enjoy DMAC as much as we do!

Everything has been great! I have worked with Audacity in the past, but today I learned new features and tricks. The uninterrupted time to work was very helpful. I also thought that Scott gave a great demonstration of how to use the software, which is something that I can incorporate into my own classroom. Looking forward to tomorrow...

While I've assigned audacity before in my classroom, I've never really had the time to play around with everything the application affords. I especially enjoyed messing around with echo. ^_^
I was really excited to hear we'd have a flash breakout session and am curious about Sophie (sp?). DMAC w00t. -Aurora

I am enjoying getting the nuts and bolts of building a project each piece at a time. The instruction in the lab was thorough and clear but it was a little hard at times with the competing voices. I love the technique of teaching and doing - this is a great way to flex muscle memory. I look forward to more experimental lab time as we go along.

Yes, I enjoyed playing around with Audacity today today and looking forward to getting into it in more depth tomorrow. I'm also looking forward to finding out more about Sophie!

I'm glad to see some good experiences today. I've had a blast meeting each of you! Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything I (we) can do!
